Playologist Position Details:

This is a part-time, hourly, non-exempt position. This position will have anywhere from 2-6 hours per week.

If you are 16 years or older and are looking for part-time work in a fun environment, aMuse’um could be the perfect fit! We are looking for someone who is energetic, ready to assist the Welcome Center, and excited to improve guest experiences.

Playologist Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Welcome Center staff with the resetting and cleaning of the museum

  • Assisting with reset, cleaning, and overall upkeep of the museum floor

  • Sanitizing “tasted toys” in the bins regularly throughout the shift

  • Serve as an assistance to Welcome Center staff, and serve as back-up when needed

  • Making sure that children are not in the Toy Shop unattended

Playologist Job Qualifications:

  • Proficient in:

    • Computer and phone skills 

    • Communication

    • History of dependability

    • Able to meet deadlines on time

Work Environment:

Candidates should be comfortable working in a busy and a times loud environment.

Available Shifts:
Weekends (Fridays-Sundays) and Weekdays During Holiday Breaks
