aMuse'um offers a wide array of weekly rotating activities that are FREE to members and included with a session pass. These programs provide hands-on opportunities that encourage children to think, learn, and create.
Each activity provides learning opportunities that enable children to experience new things, grow, and develop passions! We focus on developing intentionally designed opportunities for learning through play and discovery.
Weekly Activities
Science Station
Science Station is perfect for children with a natural curiosity about life. These simplistic experiments allow children to explore the scientific method and foster a desire to explore and discover! These hands-on, parent-led activities are great for all ages.
Rotating Activity Themes Include: Glitter Volcanoes, Fizz Inflators, Lava Lamp Science, Wiggly Wiggly Caterpillars, and Elephant Toothpaste.
Mondays from 3:30-4:30 pm
Art Station
Children can learn about various types of art while creating their very own masterpiece! These hands-on, parent-led activities are great for all ages.
Rotating Activity Themes Include: Tie-Dye Art, Symmetry Squish Art, Wax Resist Art, Mosaic Art, and Dot Painting.
Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30 pm
Story Builder Station
Children and their caregivers can create a story, and then build the scene together using the StoryTales supplies provided. Children will naturally collaborate and develop speaking/listening skills, while exercising effective communication and narrative skills.
Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 pm
Tinkering Station
Tinkering Station is perfect for children with a natural curiosity about life. Tinkering allows children to test and explore ideas while teaching valuable lessons about problem solving. These hands-on, parent-led activities are great for all ages.
Rotating Activity Themes Include: Tabletop Imagination Playground Blocks, PomPom Poppers, Plus Plus, and Playdough Pasta Towers.
Dr. Seuss Birthday Party brought to you by Villages Child Development!
Thank you to all who attended this year’s birthday celebration! Children listened to Dr. Seuss stories, made a Dr. Seuss craft and enjoyed a snack.
Dr. Seuss Party activities are FREE for members, daily admission is required for non-members.
