2026 Board of Directors
The museum is governed by an active, diverse Board of Directors, all of whom are from the Maury County area. Until 2017, the Board of Directors volunteered regularly to manage the operations of the museum with help from part-time front desk staff and volunteers. In 2017, an Executive Director was hired on a full-time basis to take over the day-to-day management and leadership of aMuse’um.

Executive Director
Monica Armstrong
Monica is excited to serve as Executive Director of A’museum, bringing over 20 years of extensive experience in youth development, program leadership, and administration. Born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee, Monica is proud to serve the community she calls home. As a mother of two, Camden and Makenna, she understands the importance of creating meaningful experiences that inspire children to learn, grow, and thrive.
Monica is currently attending Columbia State Community College, pursuing her degree in Business Management and Administration as she continues to grow as a leader and make a lasting impact in her community. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about supporting children, building meaningful connections, and creating environments where young minds can flourish.
She looks forward to helping A’museum continue to be a place where curiosity is celebrated, imaginations run wild, families connect, and unforgettable childhood memories are made.
