aMuse’um Introduces Access Memberships

In keeping with aMuse’um Children’s Museum’s joyful mission- to spark unbridled learning for young children from all backgrounds through play - the museum is announcing a new type of membership that further increases availability to families in the community. Access Memberships were designed to ensure that every family, regardless of income level, has the opportunity to experience a safe, fun and educational place to play and make memories.

Access Memberships will be offered in either a 6-month or year-long duration to EBT/SNAP/WIC cardholders. For $25 a household can enjoy a 6-month membership to the museum, while a year-long membership has a further reduced rate of $40. The membership will be valid for all people residing in the same household. aMuse’um is also pleased to offer accompanying guests a reduced daily rate of $2 per person. The program is similar to Museums for All, a benefit introduced in 2019 that aims to eliminate potential financial barriers for EBT/SNAP/WIC cardholders by offering a reduced daily admission.

“Since the museum’s inception our focus has been to provide easy access to our exhibits and programs for all children and families in and around Maury County. We aim to provide all children, regardless of their background, exposure to hands-on imaginative play in a safe and educational setting. We believe the Access Memberships program will help bridge the gap for families who have been hesitant to experience the museum due to financial restraints,” Executive Director Maeghan Wall said.

Access Memberships are now available for qualifying households. For more information on Access Memberships and Museums for All click here.
